| Prof. Bo DongShenzhen Technology University Dong Bo, male, is a Distinguished Professor at the College of Integrated Circuits and Optoelectronic Chips, Shenzhen Technology University. He was selected into Tier B of Shenzhen Overseas High-level Talent Peacock Program and the Technical Elite of the CAS Pioneer Hundred Talents Program, and listed in the World's Top 2% Scientists List jointly released by Stanford University and Elsevier. He also serves as a review expert for National Science and Technology Awards and national key research projects. He obtained his PhD in Optics from Nankai University in June 2008 and his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore in December 2015. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada from 2008 to 2009, and served as a Scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research of Singapore A*STAR from 2009 to 2017. He has presided over and participated in a number of research projects funded by NSERC of Canada, NRF of Singapore, China’s National 863 Program and National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as collaborative projects with enterprises including Airbus of Europe, Singapore ST Engineering and Singapore SMRT. He has achieved a series of innovative research achievements in the fields of photonic integrated devices, SAW/BAW chips and optoelectronic detection, having published over 140 academic papers, filed more than 30 patents with over 10 granted. His research achievements won the 2013 ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award and the Singapore Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award. He has been invited to deliver keynote speeches at nearly 20 international conferences and acted as session chair and technical committee member for around 20 international academic conferences. He once served as Topic Editor of Applied Optics under the Optical Society of America (OSA) and Editorial Board Member of Structural Monitoring and Maintenance sponsored by KAIST of South Korea, and is currently a Senior Member of Optica and IEEE. |
| Prof.Zhenzhou ChengTianjin University Dr. Cheng Zhenzhou (IEEE/OPTICA/SPIE Senior Member) is currently Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Precision Instruments and Opto-Electronics Engineering, Tianjin University, concurrently serving as Director of the Department of Optoelectronic Information Engineering, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Information Technology of the Ministry of Education, and Visiting Researcher at the University of Tokyo. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Nankai University and his doctoral degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He once worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo and joined the team led by Professor Liu Tiegen at Tianjin University as a professor after returning to China. He took part in the 11th batch of Xinjiang-supporting work organized by central government institutions, and held concurrent temporary positions as Director of the Research Affairs Office and Academic Dean of the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering at Xinjiang Normal University from 2023 to 2025. He has presided over more than ten research projects including the Youth Program of the National Overseas High-level Talent Program, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, International (Regional) Cooperation Project, General Program and Youth Science Fund Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Tianjin Outstanding Youth Science Fund, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Joint Research Team Fund, and JSPS Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research of Japan. He has published over 300 papers in top optical engineering journals and international conferences such as *Nature Photonics*, owns more than 20 authorized patents, and his research works have been cited over 6,000 times; he has been repeatedly selected into the World’s Top 2% Scientists List released by Stanford University. His major teaching and research honors include the Second Prize of Natural Science in the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements of Institutions of Higher Education awarded by the Ministry of Education, the Second Prize of Natural Science for Scientific and Technological Innovation from the Chinese Optical Society, Young Scientist Award of the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences, Distinguished Alumni Award of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Best Mentor Award for the 15th Anniversary of the National College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program. He is a member of the Basic Optics Committee, Optoelectronic Technology Committee and Optics Education Committee of the Chinese Optical Society, as well as a member of the Micro-Nano Technology Committee of the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering. He also serves as an on-site evaluation expert for the National Key R&D Program and National Major Science and Technology Projects, and a peer review expert for national youth talent programs, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Research Grants Council of Hong Kong. Additionally, he acts as Editorial Board Member of *Scientific Reports* and *Photonics*, Youth Editorial Board Member of Chinese Laser Press, and a reviewer for over 100 academic journals including *Nature Photonics*, and has been awarded the IEEE PTL Outstanding Reviewer Award; he has also participated in the organization of many academic conferences such as OECC, CLEO-PR, ACP, APOS, POEM and PIERS for multiple times. |
